With a growing presence in Portland and Eugene—and plans to expand nationwide—Killer Burger partnered with Axis Design Group to create a cohesive restaurant identity that could be implemented across all future locations.

After listening to the owner share stories about cooking burgers and playing music with friends in his garage while developing the original menu, we decided to capture that authentic, laid-back vibe in the restaurant’s design.

Axis Design Group designed every aspect of the concept—from space planning and interior design to graphics, branding, and even custom condiment racks. The Happy Valley location became our prototype and testing ground, setting the tone for what would become the brand’s signature look. Since then, the design has been successfully applied to multiple new locations, with select elements incorporated into existing restaurants as well.
