The Tonkin Hyundai dealership in Gladstone, Oregon, was completed as a phased development, with Axis Design Group providing architectural and interior design services. Phase I focused on renovating an existing metal outbuilding and minor site work, including new interior partition framing, a wash bay with floor drain, updated lighting, four new overhead sectional doors, minor site regrading, and new exterior paint to refresh the façade.

Phase II involved more extensive improvements, including demolition and reconstruction of the Hyundai showroom, the addition of a new service reception area, and a full interior remodel with a new fire sprinkler system and upgrades to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Exterior enhancements in this phase included upgraded finishes, a new display plaza, improved right-of-way connections, and new site lighting.
